This holiday is a popular choice with our clients as we stay in the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth and the well liked Royal York & Faulkner Hotel. Sidmouth offers beautiful gardens, a promenade and friendly shops making it an ideal base to enjoy the surrounding area.
Day 1
We join our coach this morning and make our way to Sidmouth making a lunch stop en-route before we arrive at our hotel in time for our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we travel through the Devon countryside to Exmouth, where we join our boat for a scenic river boat cruise around the River Exe. From the boat you can view the stunning scenery, wildlife and villages before pausing at Topsham Quay before beginning the journey back to Exmouth Marina. Afterwards some free time in Exmouth before we rejoin our coach for the journey back to our hotel in Sidmouth for our evening meal.
B, DDay 3
This morning after breakfast we travel through the Devon and Dorset countryside to the popular seaside town of Weymouth. On our arrival there will be time to explore the town centre and its beach, perhaps take the open top bus to Portland Bill (extra cost). In the afternoon we travel back to Sidmouth arriving in time for our evening meal.
B, DDay 4
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we travel through the Devon countryside to Bicton Botanical Gardens. Here you will be able to explore its parkland featuring historic glasshouses, a countryside museum and a woodland railway. In the afternoon we travel back to Sidmouth arriving in time for some free time before our evening meal.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast today we say farewell to our hotel and the town of Sidmouth and begin our journey back to your joining point, stopping for a lunch break on the way.

This popular hotel enjoys an unrivalled position on the towns elegant esplanade and offers good food, service, comfort and is close to the town centre. It has been run by the Hook family for more than 60 years the hotel has a lounge bar, a café bar and lounges to relax in. The bedrooms are all en suite with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The bedrooms are served by a lift.
NB: We would like to advise that due to the historic nature of the building, there are a small number of steps to use on each floor between the lifts and the rooms.
