Llandudno is a unique combination of Victorian Style and Edwardian elegance, dubbed the Queen of Welsh resorts, which lies on a curved bay making it a popular destination.

This Welsh seaside resort offers a unique combination of Victorian style and Edwardian elegance, and is dubbed the Queen of Welsh resorts. Along with a good selection of shops to explore, it has a flat promenade leading up to the Pier and the Great Orme which you can ride to the top on a tram. Llandudno offers a good base for an enjoyable holiday.

 

Day 1

We join our coach and travel through the Welsh Marches to Llandudno and our hotel, arriving late afternoon in time to settle in before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast we travel first to Blaenau Ffestiniog, where we join our train for the ride through the Welsh countryside to the seaside town of Porthmadog. On our arrival we travel onto the popular historic village of Portmeirion, famous for its connections with the 1960's television programme "The Prisoner".

Today is a free day to enjoy the town and its attractions.

Day 4

AAfter a leisurely breakfast we make the journey to Bodnant Gardens with its 80 acres of formal gardens, shrub filled glades, water gardens and woods. You can explore its Parterre and famous Laburnum Arch, the riverside garden, its woodland walks plus its Edwardian Italianate Terraces of Roses. Take a break in its tea rooms or outdoor kiosks with seating. Early afternoon we return to Llandudno and our hotel.

This morning we depart from the hotel and Llandudno and travel back to your joining point with a lunch stop en route.

This popular three star hotel is located on the seafront promenade and offers a high standard of service and food. The hotel’s facilities include a restaurant, bar and lounge, and all its bedrooms are en suite with television, hairdryer and hot drink making facilities. The majority are served by a lift.
