We stay in Morecambe a seaside town located on the edge of the bay in its own name making it an ideal place to explore this part of North West England.
On this holiday we stay in the seaside town of Morecambe, which offers wonderful views across the bay to the Cumbrian coast. It is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. On this holiday we will visit the beautiful landscapes of the Lake District, the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park along with the varied countryside of Lancashire.
Day 1
We leave from your joining point and travel towards Morecambe and our hotel with a lunch stop en route.
DDay 2
This morning after breakfast we travel across the scenic Yorkshire Dales National Park where our first stop is the renowned Wensleydale Creamery. Here you can see a demonstration of making "Wallace's" famous cheese. Afterwards perhaps purchase lunch or visit their gift shop. We continue our drive through the National Park via the small market town of Sedburgh before continuing back to our hotel in Morecambe.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast today we travel to nearby Lancaster where we give you time to explore this historic city. In the afternoon we travel back to Morecambe where the remainder of the day is free to explore at your leisure.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast this morning we join our coach for the journey to the northern lake of Ullswater. We travel through the southern Lake District towns of Windermere and Ambleside to the town of Keswick where we stop for lunch. We continue our journey to Pooley Bridge on Ullswater Lake. There we join our boat for a scenic sail to Glenridding, where we rejoin our coach. After a short break we travel down the famous Kirkstone Pass, offering magnificent views, on our way back to our hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast we leave our hotel and Morecambe and make our journey home arriving back late afternoon.

This popular three star hotel offers a warm welcome on your arrival and is located on the promenade facing the bay, but close to the town centre. The hotel is a popular choice with its lounge, bar and restaurant. All the bedrooms are en suite with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities with the majority of rooms served by a lift.

A scenic tour of the Yorkshire Dales, we first travel following the Lune Valley and then the River Ribble to Hawes where we stop for a visit at the local cheesemaker Wensleydale.
