Isle of Wight Spring Break

The Isle of Wight is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with its beaches, scenery and royal heritage.

We stay on this popular island and enjoy our stay at the popular Trouville Hotel, during our stay you will include excursion travelling to Osborne House, A scenic drive around part of the island, a visit to the local Donkey Sanctuary and the pretty village of Godshill.

Day 1

We join our coach from your joining point and travel through the English countryside to Portsmouth or Southampton, with a lunch stop enroute. On our arrival at the ferry port we catch the ferry to take us across the Solent before we continue by our coach to Sandown and the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast we join our coach for a journey around the island travelling via the "Military Road" along the south coast of the island to Alum Bay and Yarmouth. After a short break we travel back through their countryside to our hotel in Sandown.

Day 3

Today we travel the short distance to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary where we are given a warm welcome and greeted by a member of their team who gives us an introduction to the Sanctuary. You may want to purchase some food in their café or a gift from their shop. Afterwards we travel the short distance to the pretty village of Godshill, where you can wander around its thatched cottages. We then rejoin our coach and travel back to Sandown and our hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we join our coach for a journey to the popular attraction of Osborne House. Situated in its own grounds there will be time to explore the House and gardens. After our visit we travel back through their countryside to our hotel in Sandown.

Day 5

After breakfast we say farewell to the hotel and cross the Solent back to the mainland, where we continue back to your joining point.

Hotel Details: Trouville Hotel, Sandown

This popular three star hotel is a located in the centre of Sandown overlooking the beach. All rooms are ensuite with hairdryer, television and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lounge, bar and a garden area along with Wi-Fi.

Please Note:  The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms or 'disabled rooms'.

They have limited availability of walk in showers. Please note these rooms are located along the corridor, through 4/5 fire doors at the far end of the hotel so are not near the lift and are more difficult to access. They are also on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There is lift access to these floors.

    Please note: The single rooms do not have a sea view, if a double room for sole use with a partial sea view is required, a supplement of £80.00 will be added and will be on request.
