Another popular destination with our clients is Harrogate, the Spa town in Yorkshire. It makes an ideal base to explore the scenery and attractions of the area. We include visits to the award winning RHS garden at Harlow Carr, Admission to the World of James Herriot in Thirsk and the magnificent Harewood House.
Day 1
We join our coach and travel to the town of Harrogate with a convenient lunch stop on the way before arriving at our hotel for our evening meal.
DDay 2
After a leisurely breakfast the morning is free to explore this picturesque town with its parks and Georgian buildings. In the afternoon we join our coach for the short journey to the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr specially designed to reflect the Yorkshire landscape dominated by its local stone, water and woodland. Afterwards we join our coach for the journey back to our hotel.
B, DDay 3
The morning after breakfast we travel to the market town of Thirsk, where we step inside the "The World of James Herriot" museum. See where the famous vet lived, worked and wrote his incredibly successful series of books which includes the famous "All Creatures Great & Small". Afterwards there will be time to explore the towns' streets before rejoining our coach for a scenic drive to the city of Ripon where you can view its magnificent cathedral and its local shops. After a short stop we continue onto our hotel in Harrogate.
B, DDay 4
Today after the breakfast we join the coach for the short journey to nearby Harewood House set in 100 acres of gardens with plants from all over the world in a landscape designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown. Explore the upstairs and downstairs of the house before venturing into its splendid grounds including the Terrace, Lakeside and Bird garden which houses over 40 species of birds from all around the world.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we say goodbye to our hotel and Harrogate and return to your joining point.
