There is a choice of attractions to visit and we include a train journey through the Wealden countryside and be inspired by the romantic Hever Castle & Gardens to make this an enjoyable holiday.

Day 2

After breakfast we travel to the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle & Gardens. The castle forms a backdrop to a sequence of events that has changed the course of History forever. Much of what can be seen today is the result of William Astor who used his fortune to restore the castle with its panelled rooms housing fine furniture, intricate tapestries and precious antiques. Take some time to explore the beautiful gardens which feature a topiary chess set and a quintessential English Rose Garden. There is a gift shop and a café offering refreshments.
