Aberystwyth & the Rheidol Railway

Enjoy some free time at this popular Welsh seaside town located on the Mid Wales coast.

Join the coach and travel through some spectacular scenery before we arrive at Devils Bridge. Here we join our Rheidol Valley train for the one hour journey into Aberystwyth, The railway has been running since 1902 as it twists and turns clinging to the hillsides, you can see the countryside changing from rugged mountain scenery to riverside meadows.

On our arrival in Aberystwyth there will be free time to explore the town with its shops, the flat seafront promenade which leads to the Electric Cliff railway where you can for an extra cost ride up the cliff to the summit which offer views over Cardigan Bay.

• A single journey on the Rheidol Railway from Devils Bridge to Abersytwyth.

• Time to explore the seafront and town centre.

Day Trip Information

Our train departs Devils Bridge at 12:15 to Aberystwyth arriving at 13:15.

On arrival in Aberystwyth the rest of the day is free to explore the town and seafront or purchase some lunch.

The coach will leave Aberystwyth at 17:00 and travel back to your joining point, the departure point in Aberystwyth will be advised by the driver on the day.
