The museum was started by the creator of Haynes car manuals and showcases more than 400 cars from all over the world with some dating back to 1886.
The Museums Hall of Motorsport was opened by Sir Stirling Moss in 1997. In the Museum you You can learn about the history and development of the motor car, from its very beginnings to the modern day. There are information boards which give historical, social and engineering context to the collection that include early Daimler and Rover cars, 1980s sports cars, Formula 1 race cars and motorbikes. Upstairs there is a smaller collection of motorbikes.

We make an early start this morning and travel to Somerset arriving late morning at the museum.

After a fascinating visit at the museum we rejoin our coach for the journey back to your joining points.
