This tour is popular with our clients as we stay in Torquay. We have listened to our clients who said they would like a hotel closer to the sea front and the town centre so we are staying at the Livermead Cliff Hotel. We of course include a couple of excursions visiting popular Plymouth and enjoying a harbour cruise, travel on a steam train through scenic Devon countryside and enjoy some free time in the picturesque town of Dartmouth.
Day 1
We leave this morning from your joining point and travel via the motorway to the English Riviera and the resort of Torquay, arriving at the hotel late afternoon in time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning we travel the short distance to Paignton where we join our steam train for a scenic ride through the Devon countryside to Kingswear. On our arrival you can catch the ferry across to the riverside town of Dartmouth. After a short break to explore the town we join our coach for the journey back to Torquay and our hotel.
B, DDay 3
Today is free to explore Torquay or just relax at the hotel.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we join the coach and travel to the maritime city of Plymouth. On our arrival we join our boat for a one hour sightseeing harbour cruise viewing the Royal Navy ships and the famous Plymouth Hoe. Afterwards there will be free time to enjoy the city before rejoining our coach and travelling back to Torquay.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we say farewell to our hotel and Torquay and return back to your joining points.
