This NEW holiday for 2024 brings together some fascinating visits including a trip to Hampton Court Palace, the fascinating Brooklands Museum, the Edwardian retreat of Polesden Lacy and the tasteful Denbies Wine Estate. All adding up to a memorable holiday.
Day 1
We join our coach from your joining points and make our way with a lunch stop en route to our hotel in Surrey. Later the hotel will provide an evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning after breakfast we travel to the Brooklands Museum. Brooklands opened in 1907 and is steeped in history as it is the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation. Its highlights include the Brooklands Aircraft Factory, the Concorde Experience and a Formula One simulator to try.
B, DDay 3
Today after breakfast we travel to the jewel among English palaces, Hampton Court Palace where we have time to wander its Tudor kitchens, the Great Hall and State rooms. Afterwards walk its beautiful gardens, parterres and view the fountains or try the world's oldest maze, which was planted over 300 years ago. At 2pm we embark on a short river cruise along the River Thames to the nearby town of Kingston. Afterwards we re-join the coach and travel back to our hotel in Leatherhead.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we join our coach and travel to the Denbies Wine Estate, where we enjoy a fifty minute vineyard train tour taking in viewpoints with a recorded commentary and enjoying a glass of their wine. Afterwards we join our coach and travel to Polesden Lacy, a perfect Edwardian retreat where the Queen Mother spent her honeymoon. Its glittering Gold Saloon was designed to impress Kings and Queens and has an extensive collection of arts and ceramics to view. From here we re-join our coach and travel back to your joining point.

Hotel Details: Federation House, Leatherhead, Surrey
This three star hotel is also the headquarters of the Police Federation and located in Leatherhead. The building is striking and features a glass façade, and has a large open atrium housing a restaurant and bar. Its fifty five bedrooms are en suite with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
