Bournemouth & the New Forest
One of the most popular resorts in Britain, Bournemouth on the South Coast offers a year round destination to explore.
Located on the stunning Dorset countryside and with it's seven mile sandy beach, Bournemouth is one of Britain’s best known seaside resorts. The town has many and varied attractions for all the family and on this holiday we include visits to the inspiring Compton Acres gardens, the fascinating Bucklers Hard and river cruise, and the delightful Exbury Gardens.
Day 1
We join our coach from your joining point and travel with a lunch stop en route to Bournemouth, where we arrive in time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
After breakfast we join our coach and travel the short distance to the historic and unique Compton Acres gardens. Here you can explore its ten acres, which are split into seven distinct and unique gardens. In the afternoon we continue to Poole Quayside where we give you time to explore the area and maybe visit the famous Poole Pottery.
B, DDay 3
Today after breakfast is a free day to explore the town, the beach and its attractions.
B, DDay 4
This morning after breakfast we join our coach and travel through the picturesque New Forest to the ancient settlement of Bucklers Hard. On our arrival we take to the water and enjoy a thirty minute cruise along the Beaulieu River. After the cruise there is time to visit its Museum and Cottages. We rejoin the coach and travel to Exbury Gardens, well known for its rhododendrons, wildflowers and herbaceous borders, with time to explore. We also include a ticket to travel on their narrow gauge railway through their Summer Lane Garden and around the Dragonfly Pond. After an enjoyable day we travel back to our hotel in Bournemouth.
B, DDay 5
We say farewell to our hotel and Bournemouth and travel back to your joining point arriving late afternoon.

This four star hotel is positioned on the East Cliff, close to Bournemouth’s beaches, gardens and the town centre. The hotel’s facilities include a restaurant and bar, and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. All the bedrooms are en suite with television, hairdryer and iron, and tea/coffee making facilities. They are served by a lift to all floors.
