Newquay -  Cornish Coast & Gardens

This holiday gives you the chance to see the beauty of this part of England, with its new and refound attractions.

On this holiday we stay at the popular North Cornwall coastal resort of Newquay.

Our resort is ideally located to explore the county with its delightful scenery and coastline, along with its fascinating history.

We also include excursions where we visit the world famous Eden Project with its two glass bidomes, the rediscovered lost gardens of Heligan found in 1991 plus the pretty village of Mevagissey and enjoy a boat trip around Falmouth Harbour .

Day 1

We depart this morning and travel to Newquay, making a lunch stop enroute before arriving at our hotel.


Day 2

After breakfast we join our coach for the journey to the world famous Eden Project. This unique regeneration project has transformed the landscape into a global garden featuring two glass biomes. After an interesting day we rejoin our coach for the journey back to Newquay.

Day 3

Following a leisurely breakfast we travel to the town of Falmouth with its maritime connections. On our arrival we enjoy a boat trip across Falmouth Harbour and along the waters of the River Fal. Afterwards there will be some free time before continung by our coach to Truro where there will be some free time before returning to our hotel in Newquay.

Day 4

After breakfast we travel through the Cornish countryside to the rediscovered Lost Gardens of Heligan which found again in 1991. There will be time to explore the gardens and after lunch we travel the short distance to the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey. Later in the afternoon we rejoin our coach back to Newquay and our hotel.

We say farewell to our hotel and make our homeward journey.

This three star hotel is situated overlooking the town’s Fistral Beach. The hotels’ facilities include an Indoor pool and sauna and all its bedrooms are ensuite with television and tea/coffee making facilities and served by a lift.

  • Meals are on a half board basis. (Breakfast & Evening meal)

  • Some free time to explore Falmouth and enjoy a boat trip around Falmouth Harbour.

  • Some free time to explore the picturesque village of Mevagissey.
