On this holiday we enjoy our stay at the popular seaside town of Eastbourne, with its long flat promenade to stroll along and the town to explore. There is a choice of attractions to visit and scenery to make this an enjoyable holiday.
Day 1
We depart this morning and travel through the English countryside, with a lunch stop on the way before arriving at our hotel in Eastbourne. Here we are welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee. There is time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
Today is a free day to explore Eastbourne and its attractions.
B, DDay 3
Today after a leisurely breakfast we join our coach mid-morning for the journey to the popular Bluebell Railway. On our arrival we join our train (diesel or steam hauled) that will take us along the eleven miles to East Grinstead. After a short stop we return back to Sheffield Park and join our coach for the journey back to Eastbourne and our hotel.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we travel first of all to the historic town of Battle, where there will be time to explore and purchase lunch, before we continue onto Pashley Manor Gardens. Opened in 1992 this private house is surrounded by fine old trees, fountains and ponds. Delight in the herbaceous borders, enchanting woodland paths and historic walled gardens. There is a gift shop and a café offering refreshments.
Day 5
We say farewell to our hotel and Eastbourne and return back to your joining points.

Hotel Details: The Lansdowne Hotel, Eastbourne
This three star hotel is located on the seafront overlooking the western lawns and is a short walk from the town centre. The hotel has five lounge areas, some with sea views, and a games room. All the bedrooms are en suite with television, hairdryer and a tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms and although it has a lift, some of its rooms are accessed by some steps.
